|Annual Neighborhood Summit |
The 2013 Summit, RETHINK COMMUNITY is an opportunity for Garland and other first tier suburbs to consider the right next steps as we look at revitalization and redevelopment opportunities. What forums of discussion will we create to discuss community design, water conservation, neighborhood investment, and engaging diverse cultures? How will we build stakeholder capacity and share our stories? More importantly, as we think differently, how will we act differently to realize our visions for vital neighborhoods and lovable cities?
Register for the Annual Neighborhood Summit today to engage with community leaders, residents, policy makers, investors, and practitioners as we learn and share ideas.

Every neighbor, every neighborhood has a story. We want to hear your neighborhood story! The City of Garland invites neighborhood groups and individuals to share stories through writing, interviews or photography. First and second place awards will be granted for individual and organization submissions.
