Historic Pace House to be Relocated Oct. 15
October 3, 2014  Garland’s historic Pace House will move Oct. 15 to its new, permanent location at 317 South 11th Street in Garland’s Travis College Hill Historic District. The Oct. 15 move will cause some temporary road closures.

Downtown Project Taking Shape
August 14, 2014  Progress on the City Center Project in Downtown Garland is quickly becoming more visibly evident. The existing façade on the north side of City Hall has been removed and crews will soon begin installing the new skin, as well as foundation work for the new CGTV sounds studio on the south side of the building.

May 16, 2014  The City of Garland and the Garland Landmark Society will celebrate the city’s history on Saturday, May 31 with a full day of events, entertainment and family fun. The day will begin with the re-dedication of the Landmark Museum and the dedication of Heritage Crossing, at Sixth and Walnut Streets.
