Garland’s Idea Book series has produced another winner, this time on the international stage. The Efficiency Idea Book, the latest in the series, has been awarded Silver for the Best Government Publication, Print or Digital in the Content Marketing Awards.
The Content Marketing Awards are presented by the Content Marketing Institute (CMI), a strategic consulting and content marketing research organization for some of the best-known brands in the world. Other companies recognized include Disney, Target, Allstate Insurance and more. The Content Marketing Awards is the leading awards program for people who create content for organizations.
“We’ve always known that great ideas are made here in Garland,” said City Manager William E. Dollar. “The Idea Book series has earned several awards. We’re delighted about this recognition and particularly in such a prestigious awards program.”
Acknowledged by the Texas American Planning Association, The Greater Dallas Planning Council, Preservation Dallas, and the National League of Cities, the Garland Residential Idea Book has been distributed to more than 1,000 homeowners and has sparked community partnership efforts like D.I.Y. Garland. “We’re excited about this latest recognition and the overall success of the Idea Book series,” said Angela Calvin Self, administrator of Garland’s Long Range Planning Division.
