Garland CMC Presents the Mosaic Festival
Garland, Texas – September 27, 2011 – The City of Garland welcomes the return of the Mosaic Multicultural Festival of Art, Dance and Music. The City of Garland’s Community Multicultural Commission will stage this event on Saturday, October 1, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the new Hollabaugh Recreation Center and Pavilion, located at 3925 West Walnut Street between Jupiter and Plano Road in Garland.
This free event will feature arts and crafts vendors, as well as performances by live bands, singers, and dancers representing many countries from around the world. In past years, the Mosaic Festival has featured performing artists representing various cultures from South America, Asia, Africa, Europe, North American, and Central America, as well as displays of artwork, clothing and much more.
The event is free and open to the public.
