Garland Hosts Fire Truck Pull at Healthy Living Expo
The 2012 Healthy Living Expo will feature an opportunity for you to see just how much "pull" you have!
The Garland Police and Fire Departments are hosting the first North Texas Fire Truck Pull to benefit the Police & Fire Injury Relief Fund. Any organization or group can form a team to participate in this event during the Garland Healthy Living Expo on Saturday, Sept. 22, beginning at 9 a.m. at the Curtis Culwell Center, 4999 Naaman Forest Blvd. in Garland.
Each eight-person team will have the opportunity to pull a fire truck 127 feet and will be timed to see how fast they make the distance. Team members must be at least 18 years old. Men and women are invited to participate.
