The North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD) has concluded its annual chlorine maintenance process on our water system as of March 26. For residents who have noticed an increased smell or taste of chlorine recently, we are aware of your concerns.
Our Water Utilities staff takes water samples everyday throughout the city to ensure the safety of our drinking water. The water continues to be safe to use and consume.
To find out more about the chlorine maintenance process and for information about Garland’s water-quality testing, please visit the Drinking Water page on the Garland Water Utilities website, GarlandWater.com or call 972-205-3210.
Garland's water-quality testing data will be updated weekly.
