WalletHub ranked Garland No. 17 in its list of 2017’s Best & Worst Cities for Jobs. The study compared 150 of the most populated U.S. cities across 23 key indicators of job-market strength.
With the national unemployment rate at 4.4 percent*—its lowest since 2007—job seekers should not only expect to see an increase in earning potential, but also the flexibility to choose a location based on job market and socio-economic environment.
