Get Hooked on Crochet at the Library
Preteens and teens, would you like to learn how to crochet this summer? If you are between 11 and 17 you can learn to crochet for free at the Nicholson Memorial Library System’s Hooked on Crochet Workshop, designed specifically for teens and preteens.
This workshop is open to all levels of experience, beginner to advanced. Interested participants should provide their own skein of yarn and an I/9 crochet hook before choosing a project to work on. Possible projects include a scarf, bracelet, pot holder, or bookmark.
The workshop takes place from 2-3 p.m. on Wednesdays, June 13 and 27, and July 11. Registration is required to attend the event and is limited to 25 participants. The first meeting of the workshop is mandatory. Registration begins Sunday, May 13.
