Graduation season is here and Garland ISD’s Curtis Culwell Center, 4999 Naaman Forest Blvd., will host graduations for many area educational institutions.
The Garland Police Department wants area motorists to be aware of potential traffic congestion and alternate routes during these events (see schedule below).
In general, motorists can expect traffic congestion along Naaman Forest Boulevard and adjacent roadways approximately one hour before and 30 minutes after graduation events. Non-graduation traffic should bypass the area, if possible. The map below depicts a suggested alternate route in green.
The schedule highlights days when back-to-back graduations are scheduled.
