Garland Fire Dept. Wishes You a Warm, Safe Winter
December 11, 2014  As the temperature outside drops, Garland families take to the indoors to keep safe and warm. What they may not realize is that turning up the heat can increase the risk of home heating fires. According to the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), half of all home-heating fires occur during the winter months.

Christmas on the Square Light Show Continues!

Each evening through New Year's Day, one of four programs will run every fifteen minutes from 5:30 to 10 p.m. Tune any FM radio to 89.9 to hear the music that's specially choreographed to the light display.
