The Citizen's Firefighters Club will now be handling smoke alarm installations that come in by request. Residents of Garland please call 972-781-7148 to request a smoke alarm.

The Garland Fire Department does not install child safety seats. Please contact your local Department of Public Safety office for Certified Car Seat Installers.

Citizens Fire Academy Now Accepting Applications

The Citizens Fire Academy is open to anyone over the age of eighteen who lives or works in the City of Garland. This program is intended to familiarize citizens and associates of the services we provide, how we operate, and why we do things we do.

Class hours are from 6:30 - 9:30p.m.  on Thursday nights. To apply, download the Citizens Fire Academy Application.
