National Weather Service Update Dec. 9, 2013

  • Freezing Fog Advisory was lifted at 10 a.m. today, but may be reissued tomorrow morning. Freezing fog can produce a thin layer of ice on surfaces and roadways. A thin layer of ice may appear on dry roadways. Visibility will remain under 2 miles with the fog.
  • Temperatures will rise above freezing today, but only for a short period of time (about 6-8 hours).
  • Surface temperatures will remain cold enough that very little thawing or melting will occur.
  • Temperatures:
    Monday High- 36 degrees Low- 22 degrees
    Tuesday High- 38 degrees Low- 22 degrees.
