Dr. C. Tim Lambert, MD, received his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas in El Paso. He received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston and completed his residency at John Sealy Hospital in Galveston. Dr. Lambert is board certified through the American Board of Family Medicine. He has been the Health Authority for the Garland Health Department since June, 2005.
A health authority is a physician appointed under the Local Public Health Reorganization Act, Health and Safety Code, Chapter 121 by the governing body of a city, county, or public health district to administer the state and local laws relating to public health. (Texas Administrative Code, Title 25, Part 1, Chapter 85, Subchapter A, Rule 85.1)
