The City and its partners work with developers and businesses to advance significant projects that promise to act as "catalysts" for future private investment in a manner consistent with Garland’s future vision and adopted plans.
Each deal is customized to take advantage of near-term market opportunities while minimizing development risk when in an unproven market. All incentives must be approved on a case-by-case basis negotiated by Economic Development staff, reviewed by the Economic Development Steering Committee and approved by City Council.
