April 19, 2014  "West Side Story"  7 pm
Join us at the Plaza Theatre on April 19 for a FREE showing of West Side Story. This classic is the award-winning adaptation of the classic romantic tragedy, "Romeo and Juliet". The feuding families become two warring New York City gangs- the white Jets led by Riff and the Puerto Rican Sharks, led by Bernardo. Their hatred escalates to a point where neither can coexist with any form of understanding. But when Riff's best friend (and former Jet) Tony and Bernardo's younger sister Maria meet at a dance, no one can do anything to stop their love.

July 5, 2014  "A Bug's Life" 2 pm
(Ice Cream in the Square at 1:30 pm)
July's movie event is not to be missed!  In a partnership with the Parks and Recreation team, we will be showing A Bug's Life on the big screen!  Before the movie, join us in the square for a "buggy" ice cream party.  If you haven't seen A Bug's Life, it is a fabulous animated film about a misfit ant looking for "warriors" to save his colony from greedy grasshoppers. He recruits a group of bugs that turn out to be an inept circus troupe.  A perfect story for a hot summer's day!

December 20, 2014  "White Christmas"  7 pm
Irving Berlin’s classic holiday movie from 1954 is the story of a successful song-and-dance team who become romantically involved with a sister act and team up to save the failing Vermont Inn of their former commanding general. Starring Bing Crosby, Danny Kay and Rosemary Clooney, this is a must see movie to brighten your holiday season. “White Christmas” was nominated for an Oscar for Best Original Song, but not for the song you would think! It was nominated for the song “Count Your Blessings Instead of Sheep.”
