May 31, 2014  "Meet Me In St. Louis" 8 pm
After a day of celebrating Garland’s Heritage at Heritage Crossing, join us at the Plaza Theatre for the FREE showing of the 1944 classic “Meet Me in St. Louis.” In the year before the 1904 St Louis World's Fair, the four Smith daughters learn lessons of life and love, even as they prepare for a reluctant move to New York. Starring Judy Garland, Margaret O’Brien, Mary Astor and Tom Drake, this movie gives you the opportunity to see why Judy Garland fell for her director (and future husband) Vincente Minnelli. Presented by the City of Garland, this film is FREE and open to the public. Popcorn, candy and soda are available for $2. All proceeds from concessions go to the Garland Good Samaritans.

July 5, 2014  "A Bug's Life" 2 pm
(Ice Cream in the Square at 1:30 pm)
July's movie event is not to be missed!  In a partnership with the Parks and Recreation team, we will be showing A Bug's Life on the big screen!  Before the movie, join us in the square for a "buggy" ice cream party.  If you haven't seen A Bug's Life, it is a fabulous animated film about a misfit ant looking for "warriors" to save his colony from greedy grasshoppers. He recruits a group of bugs that turn out to be an inept circus troupe.  A perfect story for a hot summer's day!

December 6, 2014  "White Christmas"  7 pm
Irving Berlin’s classic holiday movie from 1954 is the story of a successful song-and-dance team who become romantically involved with a sister act and team up to save the failing Vermont Inn of their former commanding general. Starring Bing Crosby, Danny Kay and Rosemary Clooney, this is a must see movie to brighten your holiday season. “White Christmas” was nominated for an Oscar for Best Original Song, but not for the song you would think! It was nominated for the song “Count Your Blessings Instead of Sheep.”
