Wildlife
Coyotes and snakes are a part of wildlife in Garland and usually do not require a response from Animal Services unless they have become a nuisance.  If the coyotes are repeatedly coming into your yard and causing nuisances we can set a live trap in your yard.  We do not set traps for snakes.  It is recommended that you remove any brush piles and ground coverage.  Please call 972-205-3570 if you have a copperhead in your yard.  If you live near a creek; coyotes travel the creeks here in Garland for miles - they will come and go.  They normally are feeding on the rodent population and are of very minimal risk.
