Cost of Living

Since 1980, the Council for Community and Economic Research has published the ACCRA Cost of Living Index for urban areas.  The ACCRA survey has consistently rated the Dallas/Fort Worth Metro area as one of the most affordable places to live.  As of the first quarter of 2011, the cost of basic goods and services is 96% of the average cost of goods nationwide.
