City of Garland Water conservation ordinance information and drought contingency plan
Garland city officials have declared
Stage 2
drought response measures in effect at this time. However, Garland's Water Conservation Ordinances are in effect, and enforced, year-round.
Key points of the Water Conservation Plan include:
No outdoor irrigation between the hours of 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.
Newly-installed irrigations systems must be equipped with rain and freeze sensors
